Terms of Service

Effective date: September 7, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gryffin website, applications, and related services, including Gryffin Calendar (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, for activity under your account, and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. You may not share credentials in a way that defeats account or access controls.

2. The Service

Gryffin provides workflow, collaboration, reporting, scheduling, and related business tools. Features may change as the Service evolves. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance, or product development.

3. Google Calendar and third-party services

If you connect Google Calendar or another third-party service, you authorize Gryffin to access and use the information permitted by the scopes shown during authorization solely to provide the connected features you request. For Gryffin Calendar, these features may include finding calendars, checking availability, and creating, updating, or deleting Gryffin-managed calendar events.

Your use of third-party services remains subject to their terms and policies. You may revoke Google access through your Google Account permissions or disconnect the integration in Gryffin. Gryffin's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

4. Customer data and privacy

You retain ownership of information, content, and materials you submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant Gryffin the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service. Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • violate applicable law or another person's rights;
  • upload malicious code, disrupt the Service, or attempt unauthorized access;
  • circumvent security, usage, or access restrictions;
  • send spam or deceptive communications;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
  • use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

6. Intellectual property

Gryffin and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or obligation.

7. Fees

If your use is subject to an order, subscription, or other commercial agreement, you agree to pay the applicable fees and taxes under that agreement. Unless stated otherwise in that agreement, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required by law. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Gryffin disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every requirement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gryffin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities arising from the Service. Gryffin's aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid Gryffin for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or another appropriate channel. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
